Skin rejuvenation is a treatment that gives you a visibly younger, healthier, and glowing skin. If you want to diminish facial wrinkles, fight against the skin-aging process, and improve the overall appearance of your skin, you can opt for skin rejuvenation treatment. Skin rejuvenation fights against the visible signs of aging through the use of invasive and non-invasive treatments.

Conditions that can be treated include wrinkles, pigmentation, visible blood vessels on the skin, scars and loss of skin tone.

Skin rejuvenation treatments include a wide range of treatments such as laser, light and other energy-based treatments, chemical peels and other non-ablative methods. The following anti-aging treatments are available to rejuvenate your skin:

Microdermabrasion: Particle Skin Resurfacing or microdermabrasion is a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure that uses a highly controlled spray of fine aluminium oxide crystals to remove the outer layer of skin and reveal a younger, tighter, and more radiant skin underneath.

Facial resurfacing: Facial resurfacing is done to treat skin damage caused by acne, scars, sun-burn, and aging. Dermal Optical Thermolysis (DOT) therapy is a resurfacing treatment used to rejuvenate your skin. It helps to reverse skin damage caused by sun, aging, improves skin firmness, smoothens out wrinkles and fine lines, and also reduces the appearance of acne and scars. This therapy is performed by using the SmartXide laser. The DOT therapy creates several minute or microscopic holes (dots) on your skin. The laser penetrates the treated areas, tightens the skin and initiates production of new collagen.

Chemical peeling: Chemical peeling causes an evenly controlled shedding of several layers of damaged cells. This exposes a new fresh layer of skin with a more even colour and a smoother texture. In addition, the peel stimulates new cells to grow, thereby tightening the skin, which decreases wrinkling.

Laser resurfacing: Laser skin resurfacing treatment helps to rejuvenate the skin. This is used on skin to treat wrinkles, blemishes, acne scars, lines around eyes and mouth, brown spots, and sun-damaged skin. It offers good results and can be used for all skin types. Carbon dioxide (CO2) and Erbium (Er: YAG) lasers are commonly used for laser resurfacing. CO2 lasers help in tightening the skin, whereas Er: YAG lasers help in resurfacing the skin.

Laser treatment for sun-spots and marks: The Nd: YAG laser is a new type of laser for removal of skin spots and marks. It usually works on all types of skin, even on tanned or darker skin. Nd: YAG Lasers are much more precise and less damaging to the skin than some other types of lasers. There is also less pain and less time required to recover. The Nd: YAG laser is used to treat brown marks and age spots.

Anti-wrinkle Injection: Anti-wrinkle injections use a purified protein toxin produced by the clostridium botulinum bacteria. A few drops are injected with a tiny needle into the muscle that creates a wrinkle. When the protein is injected into a muscle, it blocks nerve impulses from reaching that area, and as a result, the muscle weakens. As the muscle weakens, the skin overlying the muscle relaxes and the wrinkles in the skin gradually soften and often disappear.

Facelift: It is a surgery that treats visible signs of aging such as sagging, drooping, and wrinkles on facial skin and neck. A facelift can be performed solely or in conjunction with nose reshaping, a forehead lift or eyelid surgery.

After the skin rejuvenation procedure, you will be advised on how to take care of your treated skin. Skin rejuvenation procedures can create significant improvements in your skin and overall appearance.
